Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Marrakech International Marathon announces its 35th edition on Sunday January 26, 2025. More than 14,000 runners from the four corners of the globe will take part in one of the world's most prestigious marathons.
The endemic city of Marrakech offers an exceptional setting, with a climate that is often mild in the middle of January, and a beautiful circuit considered among the fastest of international marathons, along palm, orange and olive tree lanes, as well as the city walls. Book your tickets quickly for this legendary race on Wanaut, official partner of the Marrakech Marathon.
ROUTE :
START/END: AVENUE DE LA MENARA, behind the SOFITEL hotel and close to the LA MAMOUNIA hotel.
8:30 a.m. for the marathon and 9:45 a.m. for the half-marathon.
Time limit for the marathon: 5:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. half marathon.
THE LAYOUT:
Regulated distances: 42, 195 km for the marathon, approved by an official international expert (I.A.A.F - A.I.M.S.). The course is flat and fast, despite a few false flats in the palm grove, making it possible to achieve a performance and attempt to beat the world record”.

L’endémique ville de Marrakech offre un cadre exceptionnel, un climat souvent clément en plein mois de janvier et un beau circuit considéré parmi les plus rapides des marathons internationaux, le long des allées de palmiers, d’orangers et d’oliviers, mais aussi des remparts de la ville. DURING THE RACE:
- Refreshment points are set up every 5 kms (water, orange slices), as well as at the finish.
- Sponge stations every 5 kms from the 7th km.
- Timing displayed regularly along the course and by a clock at the finish.
- Course markings on the ground and on signs.
- Partial times at the 10th and 30th kilometers for the marathon, and at the 10th kilometer for the half-marathon.
- Security is provided by the Wilaya of Marrakech and the Red Crescent. Bicycles, wheeled and/or motorized vehicles are strictly forbidden on the course.
- Medals will be awarded to all classified runners.

- Les points de ravitaillements sont installés tous les 5 kms (eau, tranches d’oranges), ainsi qu’à l’arrivée.
- Les épongeages, tous les 5 kms à partir du 7ème km.
- Chronométrage affiché régulièrement le long du parcours et par une horloge à l’arrivée.
- Balisage du parcours matérialisé au sol et par des panneaux.
- Temps partiels aux 10ème et 30ème kilomètres pour le marathon, au 10ème kilomètre pour le semi marathon.
- La sécurité est assurée par la Wilaya de Marrakech et le croissant rouge. Les bicyclettes, engins à roulettes et/ou à moteur sont formellement interdits sur le parcours.
- Une médaille sera remise à tous les coureurs classés.

Les coureurs doivent se présenter à la Gare de Train de Marrakech une semaine avant le départ ou bien au Village du Marathon (Place du 16 Novembre) pendant les 2 jours précédant la course afin de retirer leurs dossards.
